​The project is located off of the N1 highway going from Johannesburg to the capital Pretoria, previously a medical response centre, it is proposed to become the new Head Quarters of Entsika. The original building had a strong and striking roof with an internal garden space, Entsika's brief was to utilize this space to represent them and their identity while providing a sustainable headquarters. We as Ntsika Architects took that and brought out the inner garden space to clad the facade in a greenwall, with the highway facing elements used as advertising for the companie's brand and possible commercial use, this theme was expanded to revamp the roof and provide external rooftop gardens spaces that compliment a series of internal meeting spaces that hang and interact with the large garden volume within.
